Course Deployment Agreement
Overview
Guided Operator Deploy provides structured installation and configuration of a WordPress course platform designed for long-term ownership and control.
The goal of deployment is to establish a stable course infrastructure and ensure the client understands how to operate the platform moving forward.
Â
Scope of Deployment
Deployment includes:
- Installation of the Course Deployment Kit
- Configuration of core platform components
- Enrollment and checkout flow setup
- Basic automation and course structure configuration
- Guided onboarding sessions to review how the system operates
Once deployment is complete, full ownership and control of the platform remains with the client.
Platform Ownership
The platform is built on WordPress so the client retains full ownership of:
- website files
- course content
- customer data
- platform access
No proprietary systems or locked platforms are used.
Platform Stability & Updates
WordPress platforms rely on third-party plugins and services that occasionally release updates.
While the deployment system is configured for stability, future updates may sometimes create compatibility issues.
During onboarding, guidance will be provided on how to safely update plugins and manage platform changes.
Responsibility for Post-Deployment Changes
After deployment is completed, the client assumes responsibility for changes made to the platform.
This includes changes made by:
- the client
- additional developers
- installed plugins or themes
third-party services
Installing additional plugins, themes, or custom code after deployment may affect system stability. Any issues resulting from modifications outside the original deployment configuration are not included in the deployment scope.
Because WordPress platforms rely on third-party plugins, updates released by plugin developers may occasionally introduce compatibility issues. Managing and testing updates is part of normal platform ownership.
*During onboarding, guidance will be provided on how to safely manage updates and evaluate new plugins.
Plugin & Software Licenses
The Course Deployment Kit may rely on third-party plugins and software tools to provide course functionality, automation, and design capabilities.
Some of these tools may require active licenses for updates, support, or advanced features.
Depending on the tool, licenses may be:
- provided by the client
- included temporarily during deployment
- recommended for the client to purchase directly
If a license expires or is removed after deployment, the platform may continue functioning but updates, support, or certain features may no longer be available.
Guidance will be provided during onboarding regarding which licenses the client should maintain long-term.
*If Elementor Pro or similar licensed tools are used, the client may need to maintain an active license for continued updates and support.
Platform Access & Backup Responsibility
The WordPress platform operates within the client’s hosting environment.
The client is responsible for maintaining access to hosting, domain management, and administrator credentials required for the platform to operate.
While the deployment process establishes a stable working system, long-term backup management and server-level maintenance remain the responsibility of the hosting provider and the client.
It is strongly recommended that the client maintain regular backups through their hosting provider or a backup plugin installed on the platform.
If hosting changes, domain changes, server issues, or data loss occur outside the deployed system, additional work may be required to restore or stabilize the platform.
*A stable hosting environment is essential for reliable platform performance.
Payment & Refund Policy
Guided Operator Deploy is a structured service that begins with onboarding and platform preparation.
Because deployment work involves reserved time, configuration, and system setup, all payments are considered final once deployment work begins.
If a client purchases the service but does not begin the onboarding process, a refund request may be considered within 48 hours of purchase.
Once onboarding has started or platform access has been provided, the deployment process is considered in progress and refunds are no longer available.
*Onboarding must start within 30 days
Optional Support
Clients who prefer ongoing infrastructure support may apply for a Growth Partnership, which provides continued platform management and refinement.
Acceptance
By purchasing Guided Operator Deploy or initiating a Growth Partnership, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Deployment Agreement.
Completion of checkout or written confirmation of services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
The platform will be delivered in stable working condition at the time of handoff.
